Twitter and Facebook both have the fuction which allows users to post to them via SMS. Google Buzz seems to have the same function now. While to use this function of Google Buzz, you need a third party web application which is called BuzzViaSMS.
BuzzViaSMS is a free to use online app which allows you to post to Google Buzz via SMS. All you need to do is just to sign up, register your phone, and then posting to Google Buzz will be as easy as sending a text to (925) BUZZ-SMS.
So far so good, BuzzViaSMS officially supports mobile phones in the US and Canada, while 32 other countries are also supported by a beta service. Until now the service only allows users to post text, which is to say that images or videos are excluded. Taking advantage of Google Buzz's API, the service of BuzzViaSMS can be turned off anytime by logging into your Google account. Even when you happen to be outside the US, it's not complicated at all for you to keep using BuzzViaSMS, you can still send text messages just like you send those to any regular US mobile phone number.
